Dr. Kara Godkin is a graduate of the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. She completed her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at Western, earning the Gold Medal for graduating with the top overall score in the faculty of Health Sciences. She also holds a certificate in Dry Needling Acupuncture from ISS. Dr. Godkin has been trained in several other disciplines, including: Graston Technique, Integrated Assessment and Patterning, Concussion Management from the University of Calgary & Laval University, and is currently working on her International Sports Chiropractic Certificate from FICS (International Federation of Sports Chiropractic).
Kara played competitive hockey for 11 years, as well as volleyball, soccer and field hockey. She has volunteered with the 2022 World Games in Alabama, Team Canada Women’s Lacrosse, and as a coach with Special Olympics London. She uses her athletic background and focus in rehabilitation to help her patients back to their highest performance levels. She has treated athletes from local levels, varsity and professional athletes. She loved interning at Performance Sports Therapy and is excited to officially join the team!
